The Izor Foundation operates as the dedicated philanthropic and grassroots arm of Emeng Mentoring International. While our parent organization is globally focused on cultivating leadership, personal growth, and professional excellence, the Izor Foundation was established to take this vision to the streets, the villages, and the most vulnerable in our society.
Rehabilitating Widows, Orphans & the Elderly
We are a dedicated non-profit and non-governmental organization committed to uplifting marginalized communities. Founded on the belief that every individual deserves dignity, opportunity, and care, we work tirelessly to rehabilitate widows, orphans, and the elderly. Through targeted interventions in education, healthcare, and economic empowerment, we are building stronger, more self-reliant communities.
We believe that true mentorship extends beyond guidance—it requires tangible action. Backed by the institutional strength and visionary leadership of Emeng Mentoring International, the Izor Foundation bridges the gap between human potential and humanitarian aid.
Educational Advancement & Youth Mentorship
Guided by the principles of our parent organization, we believe education and mentorship are the most powerful tools to break the cycle of poverty. Since 2001, the Izor Foundation has been a beacon of hope for indigent students.
- Scholarships & Sponsorships: We provide comprehensive scholarships and cover registration fees for critical transition examinations, including WAEC and JAMB.
- Higher Education: To date, the foundation has successfully funded the university education of eleven graduates, with several continuing on to pursue Master’s degree programs under our full sponsorship.
- Infrastructure: We built and donated a complete three-classroom block to the village secondary school, now recognized as Government Secondary School, Ikpalegwa.
Social Welfare & Rehabilitation
Our heart is with those who need care the most.
- We are actively laying the groundwork for dedicated orphanages and old people’s homes to provide safe, nurturing havens for the destitute and abandoned.
- We reach out to and continuously support homes for disabled persons, ensuring they receive the care, resources, and social inclusion they deserve.
Economic Empowerment & Livelihoods
We empower individuals to become financially independent providers for their families, turning them from dependents into community contributors.
- Widow Support: We provide widows with the seed capital, training, and resources needed to establish small-scale businesses and viable farming enterprises.
- Equipping Artisans: We have purchased essential working tools for local artisans to help them scale their trades and increase their earning capacity.
- Transportation & Logistics: The foundation has provided cars and motorbikes to community members, enabling them to launch transport businesses and improve rural and urban mobility.
Healthcare Outreach & Community Development
Health is a fundamental right, yet it remains out of reach for many. The Izor Foundation regularly organizes and sponsors free medical services and health outreaches tailored to the most vulnerable populations, ensuring they receive vital diagnostic and treatment care.
Beyond individual empowerment, we invest in the social fabric of our communities. As part of our commitment to community infrastructure, the foundation successfully roofed the largest Presbyterian Church in the local government area, providing a safe, dignified, and expansive gathering place for worship and community events.
